Gill nets

Daconet has always been in front when it comes to developing and improving gill nets. Today most gill nets are synthetic and Daconet can offer a wide range of gill nets in the newest and strongest synthetic materials.

We have many years tradition in developing gill nets together with our customers. This process sets a very high standard for the equipment. The assortment within our Gill nets is quite wide and you can find many types and sizes within each of the following categories: Trout and salmon nets, plaice nets, sole nets, cod nets, gwyniad nets, hake nets, crab nets, Greenland halibut nets, turbot nets, lumpfish nets, trammel nets – amongst these our Daco Type trammel nets on which we have a patent, herring nets, and mackerel nets.

Daconet was founded in 1934 by Johannes Dahl. The Shop started on the island Fur, but was in 1999 merged with Johs. Haaning A/S. In 2003 all activities came under one roof in Skive known as Daconet. In 2006 Daconet was sold to Frydendahl im- og export in Hvide Sande.

This step has had no impact on the daily business procedure. The company name is still Daconet and your contacts in the sales department are the same as before. On the other hand Daconet has taken advantage of the merge now offering an even wider assortment of products for the professional fisherman.

Daconet is international focused, with business relations almost all over the world. Our homepage makes it possible to order directly. Our staff has great knowledge within the business, and we are always ready to advise and to help our customers in any aspect.

Besides gill nets we can offer you a wide range of other fishing related products, such as twine and sewing thread, fyke nets, fish hooks and accessories, cordage and rope, buoy articles, yacht lines, floats and lead sinkers, cleaning products, paint, clothing and other various articles.
